Kolden before the Royal Palace in Stockholm. Photo: Roel GillesenAfter his short stop in Zwolle, Kolden has been redeployed to Sweden. After a pleasant flight on which he had the honour to be part of a pilot's first landing, he travelled on to Stockholm where he was received by Christer Lindqvist; our Swedish correspondent.

The picture is taken just before the Royal Palace in Stockholm. If you want to see exactly where, you can use the following link to see it in Google Earth. Google Earth - Kolden before the Royal Palace

The Swedish flag contains three crowns.
Three miths exist about these crowns.

1. crowns represent the three crowned gods of the Uppsala, the seat of a holy place, before the introduction of Christianity.
2. The crowns represent the three areas of Uppland (the area around Uppsala) that had the right to participate in the election of the king.
3. The three crowns represent the Three Wise Men (or Holy Kings).

The following picture shows the crowns on the tower.
