Olim’s name starts with the third letter of KYOTO. Like the other GNOMEDIARIES gnomes, Olim is named after one of the letters off the Kyoto Protocol.

Yesterday we saw, like a lot of vacationers like to do, Yaldor reading a book. It appears to be “THE KYOTO PLOT” written by Ruben van Dijk, first book of a new Dutch genre called eco-thrillers that was recently started by publisher A.W. Bruna in the Netherlands.
